Meta Trader Platform

With LMFX MT4, you have more than 50 advanced indicators and tools available to help you to analyse the price dynamics of financial instruments across nine time frames, identify trends and calculate entry and exit points, etc.

The first time that you download the LMFX MT4 Platform, you will see a list of available servers. To connect, simply select the appropriate server from the list. You may be prompted to enter the IP address manually on your first login to the LMFX MT4 Platform.

Step 1

Open the Command line (your Linux terminal) and run the command bellow -

wget https://static.lmfx.com/download/LMFX_MT4_Linux.sh ; chmod +x LMFX_MT4_Linux.sh ; ./LMFX_MT4_Linux.sh

Step 2

This command downloads the script, activates it, and runs it. You simply need to enter your account password to enable the installation.

Step 3

Once the installation is completed the Meta Trader 4 will be opened automatically in a few seconds.

Step 4

Choose the server of your preference from the company's live and demo servers and click on 'Next' (image 4.a). After that choose the 'Existing trading account' option on the screen and enter your trading account credentials (login and password) as provided to you when opening the account through LMFX wallet and then click on 'Finish' (4.b).

Alternatively you can click on “File” on the left corner of the platform, then “Login to trade account” and type your Account ID and Traders password.

If you haven’t opened trading account yet, create your LMFX live or demo trading account to get started.

Note: proxy settings are not required and should be skipped in most cases. Simply close the window and re-launch the MT4 platform as normal from the newly created icon.

You’re done!

You are now ready to trade on your Linux PC. Go ahead and make the trade.
